I recently had the pleasure of relaunching the website for Elk Mountain Expeditions, a locally loved whitewater rafting and adventure company based in the Roaring Fork Valley. This project was especially rewarding because the team gave me full creative freedom with the design. Their previous website had been rebuilt just a few years ago, but it lacked a clear structure—resulting in a disjointed user experience and over 30 dead-end pages.

We completely reimagined the site’s hierarchy and navigation, streamlining the content and implementing redirects to avoid 404 errors. The new site is focused, intuitive, and designed with one clear goal: booking adventures. We integrated FareHarbor so visitors can seamlessly reserve trips online.

With the relaunch complete, we’ve now entered the maintenance and SEO monitoring phase—just in time for their busy season. I’m excited to see their online presence grow and their bookings soar.
