Eat

Nashville's food scene emphasizes local and season vegetables.

Pinewood Social Club - SOBRO (south of Broadway), short walk from downtown
I knew immediately I was going to have trouble venturing anywhere besides Pinewood in Nashville. It is a coffee shop, cozy living room, community workspace, bar, restaurant and bowling alley all in one. Fried broccoli (flash fried) is a must!

Coffee

Crema - SOBRO (south of Broadway), short walk from downtown
Best coffee in Nashville. Try the 1/2 almond 1/2 coconut milk combo. Love the ambiabce, industrial, hipster feel and eco friendly. Avocado toast is yummy.

Barista Parlor - East Nashville
Minimalist creative design located in an old garage. Great place to work. I asked the barista if the milk was organic, he did not know but said the man who delivers the milk is the same man who milks the cows. I was sold!

Do

Ryman Auditorium - Downtown
Intimate 2,362-seat live-performance venue, best known as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. I saw both Jamestown Revival (HUGE fan) and Ryan Bingham perform here. You can also go for a tour of the venue in the morning and sometimes you will here the bands that are performing that night doing sound checks.

Cocktails

Attaboy - East Nashville
This place is COOL, its a MUST! Located in an unassuming building with no sign or door handle. You knock and a few minutes later are greeted and taken into a candle lit speak easy. There are no menus, the bartender comes over and has a conversation with you about your drink order. Great spot after dinner as they stay open till 3:00 am regardless.
8 Mcferrin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206 | 5:00pm - 3:00am everyday

Patteron House - Midtown
Located in a house on the corner, you will think you are dropped off at the wrong place ( a common theme in the speak easy Nashville scene). Upscale speak easy, serving craft cocktails mixed with care in a cozy, mellow setting.
1711 Division St, Nashville, TN 37203 | open daily from 5pm - 1am/3am

Pearl Diver - East Nashville (next door to Pelican & Pig)
Tiki bar, combines kitsch decor with a more minimalist vibe. Fun frozen drinks! We were here in freezing weather but apparently the outside is a pretty hot spot.
1008 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206

Gray & Dudley - Downtown
Hip restaurant & bar in the 21c Museum Hotel. Market driven dishes, excellent bar scene and art-driven surrounds.
21c Museum Hotel, 221 2nd Ave N, Nashville, TN 37201 | 615 610 6460

Stay

The Bobby - Downtown
Boutique hotel in a central location, you can walk to most places. Active fun vibe in the lobby bar and a more casual bar located downstairs. The roof top was closed but normally this is supposed to be a hot spot. In the winter they set up a winter wonderland with heated igloos. Rooms a very spacious and clean. In the past I have always stayed with my cousin in East Nashville, this is a great option if you want to be in the center of everything!
