Last night I was the guest of corporate sponsor Resolute Building Company at the Ronald McDonald’s annual benefit, A Tasteful Affair.  The event was a huge success in its new venue the Blue Zone at the UNC football field.  They had a system called BidPal that allowed people to donate through their phones. Every time someone made a donation, it appeared on one of the 100’s of tv monitors (remember we were in the football field house). They raised over $15,000 this way. The UNC cheerleaders were there engouraging the bidding along with Ramsie and Stormy.  I will keep you posted on the total amount raised from sponsors, ticket cost and silent auction. All in all it was a fun event for a great cause!
